Windermere & Hawkeshead
We take a gentle ride to Windermere through the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with magnicicent views of Pen-y-gent. After a short time for lunch in Ambleside we board the coach for a short ride to Waterhead, where we board a motor launch for a cruise on the Lake to Bowness. Our coach will meet us at the pier and then take us on a scenic ride to the small village of Hawkeshead, where you can wander, shop or just get refreshments from one of the many establishments. We then begin our picturesque journey home via the Forest of Bowland.
